Jeffrey Moller, M.D.

Jeffrey Moller, M.D. is a sleep medicine physician primarily located at the Phoenix office of The Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona.  He treats the entire spectrum of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, disorders of hypersomnia, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome.

Dr. Moller was born and raised in northwestern Washington State.  He obtained an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University in Pullman, WA, followed by his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.  He continued his medical training with an internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, residency in Anesthesiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR, and he remained at OHSU to complete a Pain Medicine Fellowship in 2013.

The first nine years of Dr. Moller’s career were spent as a private practice anesthesiologist in Washington State.  After exposure to the sleep medicine field through his own sleep problems, Dr. Moller decided to return to training complete a fellowship in Sleep Medicine through the University of Arizona College of Medicine here in Phoenix.  He is currently a pending diplomat of the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) in addition to being dual board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Moller believes that sleep is an integral (and often overlooked) piece of a patient’s overall health, and that many chronic health conditions can be improved with quality sleep.  He enjoys using his diverse medical background to help patients suffering from both pain and sleep disorders, as the body relies on the restorative aspects of sleep to heal and recover from injury.   Additionally, he has a special interest in the management of sleep disorders, and specifically sleep apnea, during the peri-operative period.

In his free time, Dr. Moller loves spending time with his wife Jillian, and their 3 children.  Having recently relocated to Arizona from Washington State, they are enjoying experiencing all the unique things that the Southwest has to offer.
