At the Insomnia and Sleep Institute of Arizona, we are dedicated to advancing treatment options for sleep disorders. As part of this mission, we are excited to announce our involvement in an important clinical trial evaluating an innovative therapy for obstructive sleep apnea.

What is the Study About?

We are currently recruiting participants for a study on the Breas Vivo 45 LS Ventilator, an innovative device designed to improve the lives of individuals suffering from obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). OSA is a serious condition where the airway becomes blocked during sleep, leading to interrupted breathing, poor sleep quality, and long-term health consequences if left untreated.

This clinical trial aims to assess the effectiveness and safety of the Breas Vivo 45 LS Ventilator, a non-invasive ventilator that may offer an alternative to traditional therapies like CPAP. The device provides respiratory support designed for patients with chronic respiratory insufficiency, and this study focuses on its use in real-world settings.

Who Can Participate?

You may qualify for the study if you:

  • Are age 18 or older.
  • Have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.
  • Are currently using CPAP therapy or another form of treatment for sleep apnea.
  • Meet other health and eligibility criteria, which will be discussed during the screening process.

If you’re unsure whether you meet these criteria, our research team can help determine if this study is a good fit for you.

What to Expect?

As a participant, you’ll receive:

  • Comprehensive sleep evaluations at no cost.
  • Use of the Breas Vivo 45 LS Ventilator device throughout the study.
  • Ongoing monitoring and support from our team of sleep specialists.
  • Compensation for your time and travel.

Your participation could help shape the future of sleep apnea treatment and improve the lives of countless individuals affected by this common sleep disorder.
